The central government of India recently hiked petroleum price again. Moreover, the government also lifted the control on price hike and allowed petroleum companies to hike or reduce the prices as per the international prices. The UPA government have already hiked the prices many times in last six years of its ruling. The people of India are furious on government for often price hikes. All the opposition parties have joined together this time and have announced all over India close-down.
All companies, educational institutes, transports, are expected to be closed. But opposition have said that they may allow transportation of food etc.
After a long time, India is to be remained shut once again. It will be interesting to see if this makes any impact as the PM of India have already announced that the price hike will not be taken back. All we can hope is to all go well.
