Join The World Create History - Life in a Day - Lets Capture Our World On Camera

Every day, you, and other more then 6 million people view the world trough their lens of eyes. Each new day you do, you see, you get to know something new. You see people romancing in streets, you see children playing and doing crazy stuff in parks, you go to work, you meet new people, you learn new things, you do some extra ordinary stuff you never did before, you help the neighborhood girl to get her cat back, who is sitting on a tree, you help an old grandma cross the road etc etc..  Ever imagined all these things happening in your life on one single day, can be featured in a movie? Keep reading to know how.

The director behind films like Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, Thelma & Louise, Blade Runner and Robin Hood Ridley Scott and Oscar-winning director of films such as The Last King of Scotland, Touching the Void and One Day in September - Kevin Macdonald, together with YouTube Community and LG Electronics, are bringing a whole new experiment called - Life in a Day.

Life in a Day is a historic cinematic experiment which will attempt to document one day of your life as seen by you and other people around the world. As describe on their blog - "On July 24, you have 24 hours to capture a snapshot of your life on camera. You can film the ordinary -- a sunrise, the commute to work, a neighborhood soccer match, or the extraordinary -- a baby’s first steps, your reaction to the passing of a loved one, or even a marriage."

Kevin Macdonald, will then edit the most compelling footage into a feature documentary film, which will be executive-produced by Ridley Scott. LG Electronics is supporting "Life in a Day" as a key part of its long-standing "Life’s Good" campaign and to support the creation of quality online content that can be shared and enjoyed by all.  The film will premiere at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and if your footage makes it into the final cut, you’ll be credited as a co-director and may be one of 20 contributors selected to attend the premiere.
