Apple today announced its next version of its revolutionary iPhone. The next iPhone is called iPhone 4S. Apple also announce the release date for its next version of iPhone Operating System - iOS 5. It will be released to the public on 12th of October. The iphone 4S is release with the same strategy like they did with iphone 3GS. They have added more speed, memory and other features to the same iPhone 4 design.

- iPhone 4S will be power-packed with the dual core A5 processors which are used in iPad 2.
- iPhone 4S also have dual core graphics, which will give 7X faster performance as claimed by Apple.
- iPhone 4S will support both GSM and CDMA netwoks.
- iPhone 4S will have the new, improved rear camera. It will be an eight megapixel camera. The new camera sensor is said to be 33 percent faster at taking pictures.
- iPhone 4S will support faster internet. Data can now download up to 2x faster. Max performance thatt used to be 5.8 MBPS uplink and 7.2 MBPS downlink will now double to almost 14.4 MBPS downlink.
- iPhone 4S can can intelligently switch between two antennas between send and receive to make better call quality.
- iPhone 4S is able to shoot HD videos at 1080p.
- iPhone 4S wil now come with 64 GB memory too.
- The most promising feature of the iphone 4S is going to be Siri. It is the "personal assistant" technology developed by Apple which will allow users to "talnk to their iphone". For example when you will ask Siri "what is weather like today?", it will announce the current status of weather. You can tell Siri to search for nearby locations like restaurant, pizza parlous etc etc. Siri can also read messages for you. Siri can type your emails, notes, search the web for you. Siri will support English, German and French at fist, and will support more languages later. iPhone 4S will be avaialable in black and white color.
- Prices for iPhone 4S will be - $199 for 16GB, 299 for 32GB and $399 for 64GB.
