We all know that Japan is fearing nuclear radiation due to 8.9 Magnitude earth quake and tsunami caused by it have affected nuclear reactors very badly. Japan is currently trying to fight and get over this on going nuclear crisis. Nuclear radiation is said to be spread outside of Japan, in other countries if all does not go well. The radiation leak is not that high, but it could affect nearby countries. Now news has come from China that people are rushing to stores to buy salt as they believe that iodized salt would help them fight the nuclear radiation effects.
The nuclear risk is very much little to spread as far to China and nearby countries but some people are in great panic and are rushing to stores to but salt. They have been told that salt has very little quantity of iodine which would not help anyway, but people are not listening.
It is said that people are panicking and rushing to stores and super markets fearing the salt will be out of stock soon. Some people have commented on some Chinese websites that they saw people carrying boxes of salt and when they reached the stores, they could not find salt as it went out of stock real soon. They said people were in great panic and were fighting to grab salt as much as they could.
